A Thai woman waits for her bus.
My first real world outing with my then new 50mm f/1.4 lens. I realized the lens was collecting dust in my bag so I took it out for several days without any other lenses. On this occasion, it unintentionally turned into an over-the-shoulder shot lens while I waited for a bus. Not much else is happening in these photos but I really like the sense that the viewer shares a brief view with a total stranger.
In case anyone's curious, the bright background is from the glass at the Paragon Mall in downtown Bangkok.
A Thai man waits while scanning oncoming traffic for his bus.
What kind of music is this guy listening to? My bet's on the latest Thai boy band.
