Judges tally scores at the finish line of the Waiter's Run in Annecy, France.

Unfortunately, I was unable to decipher any of the announcements made by the judges in French at the finish line. However, my gut instincts tell me scores were based on finish time as well as the remaining level of mysterious blue liquid in tacky plastic cups.

The excruciatingly slow judging exceeded my own time limit of 2 hours so I'm unable to tell you the results of this month's Waiter's Run. As far as I'm concerned, anyone that runs with an apron in 100°F (37°C), carrying blue liquid of unknown origin is a winner to me.
