A pair of surfers head home after an evening of catching waves at touristy Kuta beach in Bali.
A fellow surfer ends his day at Kuta beach in Bali.
Cat's got my tongue at the moment. I'm trying to write something but nothing seems to be coming to mind except the insulting comment one surfer told me about anyone that surfs on Kuta beach in Bali. But I won't repeat it here.
Instead, I'll tell you that I'm in Delhi now overdosing on rickshaw fumes and getting my stomach accustomed once again to Indian cuisine. I'm surprised how much I've actually missed my beloved kadai paneer and naan during my 3 month break away from India. In addition, I find myself looking forward to samosas and chana masala after such a long time.
Other than the cuisine, I find it necessary to readjust to photography in India after nearly three months in South Korea. Finding clean, uncluttered backgrounds is extremely difficult in this country and pulling out a camera draws idle gawkers from around the neighborhood, half of them surreptitiously trying to squeeze into the frame. I took a stroll around old Delhi yesterday snapping only one photo as proof but old Delhi is a swarm of humanity so I'll save my energy for another place that can bear less frustrating photographic fruit.

Enjoy the clutter and chaos, and get the idle gawkers fully in the frame! People want to see the swarm of humanity! Good to see you're enjoying India ;)
Thanks, Holger! I'll get in contact w/ you at some point. Need to pick your brain about a few things.
Hello Pius. We are a small, newly-founded consultancy specialising in contaminated land management, based in Byron Bay Australia. We love your 'Frothy Walk' image (it speaks to the surfer within all of us in the office!), and are interested in using it in a postcard we are sending to potential clients. We want to only use a thumbnail-sized copy of the image, print run only, with no on-selling at all - purely as part of a Business Development blitz.
Could you please let me know if this is acceptable, and what requirements you have regarding your images? Thanks. I hope to hear from you soon. Heather
