I think congratulations are in order here. I finally splashed out the dosh to pay for Lightroom 3 (found at a great price on Amazon gold box deals: $120!). I spent a couple of days discovering LR3's powers and so far, my absolute favorite feature is lens profile correction. Previously, lens problems like barrel distortion required me to fire up Photoshop and add a few additional steps to my workflow when all I wanted was to complete the post-process fully in Lightroom. Because of Lightroom 3, the vast majority of the photos for this website will be completed fully in Lightroom without ever requiring extra farting around in Photoshop!
As you can see by moving your mouse over the image, Lightroom 3 also takes care of a host of other photo corrections. Yes, believe it! The final image is completely post-processed in Lightroom w/o having to enter Photoshop!
