The bizarre "La Defense", commercial area of Paris.

In my 12 year absence from Paris, it seems they really "spruced up" the La Defense area by adding building upon building in unfettered commercial growth. It's still a unique section of Paris worth seeing but for me, after a quick look around, I hopped back on the metro and returned to the more charming portions of the preserved parts of the city.
