A docked Carnival Cruise ship is ready to embark on a 5 day tour through the Inside Passage.

I took my second cruise with Carnival Cruises and say what you will about the cruise industry, there are two reasons why I enjoy cruises: boats and overconsumption of food. I'm not exactly a foodie but I do enjoy large quantities of food that I love. Cruise ships offer not only a variety but also mass quantities at any time of the day and night!

Full meat lover's pizza at 4am? I'll take 2.

Soft serve ice cream before, during and after dinner? Yes, please.

Besides the food, the scenery and wildlife spotting is unparalleled. If your room has a window, you don't ever need to go outside and bundle up for freezing temperatures.

This is an old panorama stitched together from one of my earlier point and shoot cameras and therefore exif information is not available.

House-sized chunks of filthy ice crash into the frigid waters of Glacier Bay.

The sounds of glacier ice crashing into water are unforgettable. You'd think it makes a splashing noise but the sound is more close to that of thunder or a volcano eruption.
