A canal alongside a park in my home away from home, Annecy, France.
It's been a while since I suffered through a biting autumn and winter... a good guestimate would be approximately 13 years. The flip-side is that it's also been a while since I enjoyed a good set of leaves changing color, particularly in such beautiful surroundings like the French alps. Until now, the weather hasn't broken 32°F (0°C) yet - on the minus side - but according to the local folk, it's bound to happen some time in mid-November. And what, with last year's winter being a dud, they're expecting a particularly punishing one this year. Stay tuned to see me tremble and wish for death at the hands of old man winter.
