Pavel, a Korean-Russian ex-pat living in Bangkok, poses for a strobist photo.
I've been busting out the strobes all over Bangkok for various purposes. Partly, I'm so familiar with the city of Bangkok that little seems to jump out at me to be photographed. In addition, I want to practice much more with flashes and flash modifiers while I'm in a city where I have some consistent (read: non-traveling) friends and extra sets of hands. This photo was taken with a fellow travel photographer and world wanderer, Holger from Veo El Mundo who's also temporarily residing in Bangkok.
Our Korean-Russian model asks for a brief moment while he gets into character.
Pavel bites a banner for a bit of comic relief.
As I was trying to dial in a correct exposure with the strobes, the model went on a biting rampage, entertaining our small photography group as a result.
